Welcome, from the editor.

We finally did it! Almost a year in the making, we are proud to present issue number one of this new online magazine.
We are looking forward to your input and suggestions for improvements. The nice thing about online publishing is that changes can be made quickly and easily. We have lots of ideas already and hope to implement them incrementally, as issues come forth.
You will notice there is no paid advertisement here. We believe this will keep patronization to a minimum. We can review objectively, without fear of offending a potential advertiser.
We will soon have a dedicated PRIVATE online forum that will be as interesting as the magazine. We are building that forum as this issue goes to "press".
We will publish monthly, rather than quarterly, which will give you more info for your $MONEY$.
We would like to thank our many friends who have helped make this endeavor possible. You know who you are.
We promise that future articles will be more in-depth. Constraints with the introduction of this issue made the articles necessarily short. This has been corrected for future issues. Photography will be better, too.
As many of you already know, we have been seriously involved in the collection, restoration, and preservation of classic cutlery for many years. We hope that experience will help us present to you a fresh and entertaining collection of information for your enjoyment.
Bill and Ms. Debbie DeShivs, and Tydy
